- MPV vehicles: suitable for larger passenger groups and luggage.

Child seats must be requested in advance and are subject to availability. When requesting a child seat, please provide the child’s age, height and weight where possible. Parents or guardians remain responsible for checking that the seat is suitable and correctly fitted.
Assistance animals are accepted where required by law. Other pets may only travel with prior approval and must be safely restrained or transported in a suitable carrier. Customers are responsible for any cleaning, damage or delay caused by animals.
Customers must notify us in advance of any mobility, accessibility, medical or special assistance requirements so we can assess vehicle suitability.
6. Prices, Quotations and Additional Mileage
Prices are based on the booking information provided at the time of quotation or confirmation. A quotation may take into account journey distance, journey duration, vehicle class, pickup and drop-off locations, date and time of travel, waiting time, additional stops, parking, tolls, congestion charges, ULEZ or other road charges, airport charges, station charges, cruise port charges, venue charges, out-of-hours requirements, event demand and special requests.
Prices Outside Our Standard Coverage Area
Service prices outside our standard operating area may vary slightly due to additional miles, extra travel time, chauffeur positioning, return travel, parking, tolls, congestion charges, ULEZ, airport charges, venue charges or other operational costs.
The final price may depend on the pickup location, destination, total mileage, vehicle type, waiting time, route, date, time and any additional requirements. Where possible, we will confirm the final price before accepting or confirming the booking.
Prices shown on the website, app, advertisements or booking platform may be indicative and may not include all additional costs for journeys outside our normal coverage area or for bookings with special requirements.
If the customer changes the pickup address, destination, route, stops, time, vehicle requirement, passenger number or luggage quantity after confirmation, the price may be revised to reflect additional mileage, time or costs.
6.1 Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Waiting time beyond the complimentary waiting period
- Additional stops or route changes
- Extra mileage or extra time
- Parking, tolls, congestion charge, ULEZ or other road-user charges
- Airport, station, cruise port or venue pickup and drop-off charges
- Meet and greet services
- Child seats or special requests
- Excess luggage
- Cleaning or damage
- Out-of-hours services, public holidays, weekends or major event periods
- Specialist vehicle, Sprinter, Jet Van or multi-vehicle bookings
Where possible, additional charges will be explained before or during the booking. Charges that arise during or after the service may be added to the final invoice.
7. Payment Terms
We accept payment by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, approved corporate account and cash only where agreed in advance.
Payment may be required before the journey begins unless a corporate account or alternative arrangement has been approved. We may request payment authorisation, pre-authorisation or full payment in advance.
Corporate account customers must pay invoices within the agreed payment period. Late payments may result in account suspension, cancelled bookings, withdrawal of credit terms, interest, administration charges or recovery costs where permitted by law.
8. Waiting Time
Complimentary waiting time is provided as follows:
- Airports, train stations and cruise ports: 60 minutes complimentary waiting time.
- All other pickup locations: 20 minutes complimentary waiting time.
Waiting time begins from the confirmed pickup time unless otherwise agreed in writing. For airport pickups, where a valid flight number is provided, we will make reasonable efforts to monitor the flight. Flight monitoring does not remove the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate flight and pickup details.
Waiting time beyond the complimentary period is chargeable at the applicable waiting or hourly rate.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Bluetick Chauffeur Services Ltd offers free cancellation when a booking is cancelled at least 24 hours before the confirmed pickup time.
If a booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the confirmed pickup time, the booking becomes non-refundable and the full fare may be charged.
This is because once a booking is confirmed, the chauffeur, vehicle and operational time are reserved specifically for the customer. Late cancellations may prevent us from reallocating the chauffeur or vehicle to another booking and may result in supplier, staffing and operational costs.
Standard Cancellation Terms
- More than 24 hours before pickup: free cancellation.
- Less than 24 hours before pickup: non-refundable and up to 100% of the fare may be charged.
- No-show: non-refundable and up to 100% of the fare may be charged.
9.1 Special Bookings
Some bookings may have stricter cancellation terms because they require dedicated vehicles, specialist suppliers, extended planning or reserved resources. This may include weddings, major events, sporting events, corporate roadshows, multi-vehicle bookings, Sprinter or Jet Van bookings, tours, long-distance journeys, private aviation bookings, public holidays and peak travel dates.
Any special cancellation terms will be confirmed in writing where applicable.
9.2 Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, will usually be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank or card issuer.
Refunds are not normally available where:
- The booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before pickup
- The passenger does not attend the pickup location
- Incorrect booking information was provided
- The passenger is late beyond the complimentary waiting period
- The customer refuses the allocated suitable vehicle without reasonable cause
- The service has already started or been completed
This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be excluded by law.
10. No-Show Policy
A no-show occurs when the passenger does not attend the agreed pickup location, cannot be contacted, provides incorrect pickup details, refuses to travel, cancels at the pickup point, or fails to make contact within the permitted waiting period.
In the event of a no-show, the booking is non-refundable and the full fare may be charged.
For airports, train stations and cruise ports, a no-show may be recorded after the complimentary waiting time has expired and reasonable attempts have been made to contact the passenger. Waiting charges may apply beyond the complimentary period.
11. Amendments to Bookings
Booking amendments are subject to availability and must be requested as early as possible. Changes to pickup time, pickup location, destination, additional stops, vehicle type, passenger numbers, luggage quantity or journey duration may result in a revised price.
Significant changes made less than 24 hours before the pickup time may be treated as a late cancellation and a new booking may be required.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist with changes, but we cannot guarantee that amendments will be possible once a booking has been confirmed.
12. Airport, Station, Cruise Port and FBO Pickups
For airport, station, cruise port and private aviation pickups, customers must provide accurate arrival information. This may include flight number, train number, cruise arrival details, terminal, aircraft tail number, FBO name, passenger contact number, arrival time, required pickup time and luggage details.
Airport parking, terminal pickup charges, drop-off charges, private aviation access charges, waiting time and other related fees may be added unless already included in the confirmed price.
13. Chauffeur by the Hour
Hourly bookings are charged according to the agreed hourly rate, minimum booking duration and confirmed service area. Hourly bookings may include a reasonable mileage allowance where stated in the quotation.
Additional mileage, extended time, parking, tolls, congestion charges, out-of-area travel and other charges may apply. The chauffeur will follow reasonable customer instructions during an hourly booking, provided they are lawful, safe, practical and within the agreed service area.
14. Routes and Journey Planning
The chauffeur may choose the route based on road conditions, traffic, safety, restrictions, navigation systems or operational experience.
If the customer requests a specific route, additional time, mileage, tolls or charges may apply. We are not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by customer-requested routes.
15. Customer and Passenger Responsibilities
Customers and passengers must:
- Provide accurate booking information
- Be ready at the agreed pickup time
- Be contactable using the phone number provided
- Treat the chauffeur respectfully
- Treat the vehicle with care
- Wear seatbelts where required

- Avoid unsafe, abusive or disruptive behaviour
- Pay all agreed fares and additional charges
- Ensure luggage is suitable and declared

15.1 Passenger Conduct

- Damage to the vehicle
- Unsafe conduct

We reserve the right to refuse travel, terminate the journey, charge the full fare and recover additional costs where passenger behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, abusive or unreasonable.
16. Cleaning, Damage, Food and Drink
Customers are responsible for any damage, soiling or excessive cleaning caused by passengers, luggage, pets, food, drink or personal belongings.
Charges may apply for vehicle damage, specialist cleaning, spillages, vomit, smoke or odour removal, broken fittings, lost vehicle operating time, repair costs or replacement costs.
Food and drink may only be consumed in the vehicle with the chauffeur’s permission. Alcohol consumption is not permitted unless agreed in advance and lawful. The chauffeur may refuse to carry passengers who are excessively intoxicated or whose behaviour presents a risk.
17. Lost Property
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings. We will make reasonable efforts to locate and return lost property reported to us.
Return of lost property may be subject to courier charges, postage charges, chauffeur return journey charges, administration charges or storage limitations.
We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings unless caused by our proven negligence.
18. Subcontracting and Partner Suppliers
We may use trusted, vetted and appropriately licensed partner suppliers to fulfil bookings where required. This may apply where demand is high, a specialist vehicle is required, a booking is outside our main operating area, a replacement vehicle is needed or a partner supplier is better placed to complete the journey.
We will take reasonable care when selecting partner suppliers. Unless stated otherwise, your booking remains managed by Bluetick Chauffeur Services Ltd.
19. Safety, Licensing and Insurance
We aim to provide safe, professional and reliable chauffeur services. All services are subject to applicable licensing, insurance and regulatory requirements.
Customers must not ask chauffeurs to breach the law, licensing conditions, speed limits, parking restrictions, traffic rules or safety obligations. The chauffeur has the right to refuse any request that is unsafe, unlawful or unreasonable.
Vehicles used for bookings will carry insurance as required by law and applicable licensing arrangements. Personal travel insurance, baggage insurance or additional customer insurance is not included.
20. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
Subject to the above, we are not liable for:
- Missed flights, trains, appointments, meetings or events
- Business losses, loss of profit or loss of opportunity
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Delays outside our reasonable control
- Items left in vehicles
- Customer error or incorrect booking information
- Traffic, road closures, weather, public events, security restrictions or force majeure events
Customers are responsible for allowing sufficient time for their journey, especially for flights, trains, meetings, private aviation, events and time-sensitive travel.
21. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay in providing services caused by events outside our reasonable control. This includes severe traffic disruption, accidents, extreme weather, natural disasters, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, road closures, government restrictions, police incidents, security alerts, vehicle breakdowns, technology failures or supplier failure outside our reasonable control.
22. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible by email at info@bluetickchauffeurservices.co.uk.
